Amie and Steve Kirby have spent their entire careers in hospitality, developing a deep understanding of what makes great service truly exceptional. Having worked in various roles across the industry, from behind the bar to the boardroom, their experience spans diverse international markets and sectors. It’s this rich background that has shaped the values and vision of Opero Hospitality.

Amie Kirby
With a broad background in hospitality management, Amie has expertise in areas such as management development, customer service, and leadership training. She excels in areas such as e-learning design, health and safety compliance, and new product launches. Amie’s passion for staff development and her expertise in training, coaching, and public speaking make her a key asset in driving organizational growth and performance.
Steve Kirby
Steve is a seasoned business executive with over 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in the growth and management of restaurant, bar, and pub businesses both in the UK and internationally. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer at ETM Group, where he excelled in driving operational success and team development. His strategic focus and hands-on approach have consistently led to sustainable business growth in a dynamic and competitive industry.
In 2024, Steve founded Opero Hospitality, where he continues to apply his expertise to help businesses navigate the ever-changing hospitality landscape. With a focus on clear communication, operational efficiency, and a commitment to results, he fosters high-performing teams that drive business excellence. Steve’s attention to detail and decisive leadership have earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor and expert in the sector.
